I FINALLY finished this painting! This puppy has been sitting on my desk for probably a couple years, and I have been poking at it and poking at it and I am finally calling it done!
Oil paint on a 16×20″ canvas board. It needs a frame because the canvas is slightly bowed from sitting on my desk all this time…
I made this available at my society6 shop, on mugs, bags, pillows, and more!

While we were on vacation a few weeks ago, we visited the Haliburton Forest and Wildlife Reserve, to see their resident wolf pack and rescued moose. It was fun watching their 4 wolf pups playing!

I finished an oil painting! I had sketched a large dragon that I liked, so I carried it through into a painting. I also posted Work-in-Progress shots over at my Instagram, which are posted below. I unfortunately lost my job right before Christmas, but I see it as an opportunity to find a job I really enjoy, and to focus more on my personal artwork and business! Yesterday I completed a new painting! My family and I had an up-close encounter with some “wild” deer at a local park, so I took lots of photos then, and decided to paint one! I will probably upload the reference photos soon!

Last week I got to hang out at the local Therapeutic Riding stables, WETRA, and photograph all their lovely horses. They were all inside when I got there, cause the flies were particularly annoying outside that day, next time I will plan to go early in the morning one weekend to get them outside! Still had a lot of fun hanging out with the horses and seeing people I used to work with! I also posted a couple photos over on my Instagram that day!
One more tip: I started a facebook page for my art! You can check it out HERE! Not too much up there yet, I have to figure out which stuff to post and then how to post it! I would appreciate it if you checked it out and possibly gave it a “like”, and share with all your friends! I will also be opening a society6 shop soon, but all my work is always available to buy, all you have to do is ask!

This past weekend was our church picnic, and there is always horses across the street, so I spent almost the whole time over there! I did also eat and play a bit of soccer, and rescued a Leopard Frog from getting run over. I want a horse of my own soooooo bad.
