Three Owls is Company

Hello!

I FINALLY finished this painting! This puppy has been sitting on my desk for probably a couple years, and I have been poking at it and poking at it and I am finally calling it done!

Oil paint on a 16×20″ canvas board. It needs a frame because the canvas is slightly bowed from sitting on my desk all this time…

I made this available at my society6 shop, on mugs, bags, pillows, and more!

Thank you for looking! More art coming soon!

Snowy Juncos

I had a snow day so NO WORK WOOT! I took the time to work on embroidery, add some details to a dragon oil painting, and do this quick painting! Juncos are such a cute bird. Little grey bird orbs. This probably took me a couple hours from start to finish. Acrylic paint on 8×10 canvas board. Thanks for looking! More soon!

Cottage Week

Hello!

I forgot to post all the photos I took at our recent vacation! I will post them in a couple different posts, as I took a lot of pictures at a Wolf Reservation.

Enjoy!

A Plethora of Art

Hello!

Today I am sharing a bunch of pieces that I have completed over the past few weeks. I tend to upload to just my Facebook or Tumblr and forget all about this poor blog!

I will put descriptions under each piece. Thank you for looking! Most pieces (and more!) are available at my shop!

Resident Owls

Hello!

We still have Eastern Screech Owls living in our backyard! Usually they are hanging out in our Blue Spruce tree, but lately they have disappeared, which hopefully means they are sitting on eggs somewhere! This morning my Mom woke me at 6:30 to take photos of the owl hanging out in our birdbath! The only way I won’t mind getting up at 6:30 is for animals and photography! The owls are so cute, they don’t have much fear of us, and just stare at you when you get close. Thank you for looking!

Hello!
Last cottage post! Our last day at the cottage, Dad and I went on a canoe paddle, hoping to get some good Loon photos. On our paddle however, we ran into the resident beaver pair of the lake! We followed the one beaver for quite a while, and I got some great shots of him. On the paddle back we ran into the Loons, and floated around them for a bit as well. I feel very lucky to have the chance to spend a few days at the cottage and getting up close and personal with so much great wildlife!
Thanks for looking! I will probably post a random art dump next!
